The people celebrating the mutilation, rape and torture of Israeli women and girls have come to think of the west as gullible, soft and wet … I suspect there actually is a point, fast approaching, where western restraint switches off. Israel itself has already passed that point of course and we are about to see what unrestrained retribution looks like.
