  1. Yes, diesel is definitely a bad idea on a town car. A small diesel car has very high particulate output. Much more than a truck or bus … The larger vehicles have massive filters but there’s just no room to fit them on a little town car.

  2. There will never be many electric trucks on the road. They don’t make operational sense. In the UK Amazon just ditched their fleet of electric delivery vans.

  3. Small cars are particularly bad for particulates because there isn’t room for a big filter. Paradoxically, large diesel vehicles do better because they have massive filters.

  4. In reality, electric cars are running on coal for lot of the time, especially in Germany. (I became asthmatic a few weeks after my BCG, but that’s another subject !)
