Well, for the UK, using numbers from Sabine’s recent YT video, The Net Zero Myth; “for every trillion tons of CO2 we overshoot, against the 1.5 degree ‘plan’, global surface temperatures will rise by 0.45 C”. The UK emits about 330 million tons per year (Google). So … If you sank the entire UK completely beneath the waves forever, then that will reduce global boiling by 0.0002 degrees Centigrade per year.

  22. During the past 1.3 degree C uplift, life expectancy has increased from 30 something to 70 something. Agriculture has progressed from feeding 2 billion to feeding 9 billion, GDP per capita has gone up a factor of 7, Literacy has gone up a factor of 4 etc, etc ... basically the greatest flourishing of humankind ever ... Now, you want me to believe the next 1.3 degrees is going to be an unmitigated, catastrophic disaster. Sorry, I don’t believe your fear mongering ‘crisis’ is real. It doesn’t fit the evidence of my own eyes.

  31.  @DundG  ; It is generally accepted that the March Through the institutions has been a success and achieved saturation of the universities (and the media) with the hard left. That wouldn't matter if it came with a 20th-century-lefty belief in free speech. But it doesn't. It comes with 21st century lefty doctrines epitomised by ‘tyranny of the minority' and Cancel Culture. It is Cancel Culture, more than anything, that illustrates how students are "taught what to think, not how to think" ... For example; as a student you can get cancelled for defending someone who been cancelled ! I experienced this myself very recently at the University of Manchester - it is terrifying.

Yes, some misinformation is very convincing, like when:- They you to stay indoors when you would have been safer outside, they told you to wear masks that were useless, they told you it was safe though they had zero evidence of long-term safety, they told pregnant women to take it, they told you natural acquired immunity would not protect you, they told you it would stop the spread, they told you it would stop you catching the disease, they told you nobody is safe until everybody is safe when 99.5% were not at risk anyway, they told you early antiviral treatment was useless, they told you vitamin D was of not use whatsoever, they told you the spike proteins would stay in your arm, they told you disruption of your menstrual cycle was nothing to worry about, they told you there's a thing called 'mild' myocarditis, they told you it came from an animal when they knew it came from a lab, they told you death is knocking at your door - it wasn’t, they tell you the current world-wide high levels of excess deaths are nothing to do with it, The list goes on and on. But here’s the rub … ‘They’ are the authority that will decide what is misinformation. God help us.
