They will burn and eat whatever they can to survive. The solution is to put all our efforts into making the poorest healthier and wealthier. This will require cheap, plentiful energy. Once people are healthy, and out of poverty, ONLY THEN do they care about the environment (and they will have fewer kids btw). But shutting down fracking, nuclear and oil increases the cost of energy and puts more people in poverty. It is precisely the wrong way to go … unless the intention is to kill off the poor with famine and disease.
