  5.  @jorganzola1  The whole point of an internal combustion engine is to create conditions of temperature and pressure and vapour where the fuel explodes. It doesn’t burn … it explodes. You could throw a thousand lit matches into a diesel fuel tank … And nothing will happen … it doesn’t burn.

  6. There’s a lot more to say … like the fact diesel is not volatile and it does not ignite nor does it burn. That’s why ships and inboard power boats are always, exclusively diesel.

  10. Just as my 330d was coming up to its MoT the Tyre Pressure Warning Light came on and absolutely refused to go out … And I tried everything. That is an MoT fail … UNLESS the car is older than 2012 … Which mine is … So MoT - No problem ✅✅✅

  25.  @highdownmartin  Diesel in a car park in Luton in October DOES NO BURN. The flash point of diesel is 55 centigrade. There is nowhere on the planet at 55 centigrade.

  26.  @philipoakley5498  Diesel will burn in a jet engine where the air flow is huge … but in an internal combustion engine it doesn’t burn … it explodes due the high pressure and the vapour created by the injectors. You can spend a thousand years throwing lit matches into a diesel fuel tank and nothing will happen. Don’t try it with petrol though.
