@andrewtrip8617 ; People who caught SARS-CoV-1 are still immune to that 15 years later. (People who caught chickenpox as kids are still immune to that 100 years later).

I don’t suppose there’s anybody who hasn’t had a cold, many of which will be coronavirus colds. From which everybody gains some level of immunity. The intriguing question is why it seems so many people can’t catch Covid, even if they tried - but others get it so bad. (My sister works in a triage role in hospital, sees dozens of people every day, but has never caught it - no antibodies. There are thousands of people working in supermarkets who could say the same). Which is why the good doctor is wrong when he says; ‘we are all going to catch it’.

Your immune system still recognises variants as SARS-CoV-2 … The same way that you would recognise your friends even if they had different shoes on !

@StopBugging99 ; Some say the vax doesn’t stop infection very well because, by it’s nature, a jab develops antibodies in the vascular system whereas an actual infection gives you cold symptoms, so you develop a lot more antibodies in the respiratory system itself … so more effective at stopping infection / reinfection.
