  5. Capital gains tax on property would be a scam. If anybody knows this it’s the good professor. If my house goes up 5% it’s because the value of money has gone down 5%. So I gain nothing - but government tax me as if I have gained something, when I haven’t.

  6. Likewise removing agricultural inheritance tax relief. This would prompt a significant redistribution of farmland from private ownership to giant corporations (who don’t pay inheritance tax). And, no doubt, re-enforce the popular belief that Labour, and Starmer in particular, hate the ethnic English.
