  1. The good professor should stick to his day job. Contract Workers in any industry or profession are invariably the HIGHEST skilled and the HIGHEST paid, by some margin. They don’t need hours of tuition and training. They already know where the goldfinch nest. They already know the safety procedures … and a lot more besides. It takes years to get that good and they get rewarded accordingly. And from an industry / economic point of view, there are nowhere near enough skilled workers to go round. By working hourly they are effectively shared across the industry.

  2. He is doing something about inequality. When Biden came into power he shut the Keystone XL pipeline. Likewise, Miliband and Starmer are shutting down North Sea oil. This is deliberate … It makes oil, and pretty much everything else, cost more. This inflation raises the value of tangible assets making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Also mass uncontrolled immigration brings down all wages (not just the low paid, btw). This too makes the rich richer and the working proletariat poorer.

More down to earth though, I bet those contractors paid for that training themselves … I know I always did.
