  1. Rach Grant ; Quite right. People too young to have experienced the unemployment and high inflation of the late 70s and early 80s seem quite happy to trash the economy. We have had full employment for quite a while now. Unless you been unemployed for any significant length of time yourself you have not the faintest idea how utterly life and soul destroying it is.

  2. Kids in the 50s and 60s we were routinely put out to play with very few boundaries, maybe; “comeback when it gets dark and don’t cross the big road”. We grew up confident we could handle whatever came our way. Since the 80s the majority of kids were brought up in cotton wool afraid of ‘stranger danger’ and other unseen perils. They’ve grown up to the mantra; “Keep me safe! Keep me safe!” Hence masks, lockdowns, testing for a disease without symptoms, queues for vaccines etc … We did this to our kids, we only have ourselves to blame.

Answer; 0.0004 degrees Centigrade per year. That’s four ten-thousandths of one degree C per year. California is also 0.0004 … Australia 0.0005 degrees C per year.

  8. Invariably it’s You Tube algorithms that delete comments. By trial and error you find which words and phrases get a comment deleted. I could tell you some of them … but then this comment would get deleted !

It’s insane. 4 months after this interview and it turns out Ms Shriver was absolutely spot on with her analysis.
