Comments by "Kevin Hicks" (@Hickalum) on "COVID stubbornly high as vaccine protection wanes" video.
There’s already a tricky situation for grandparents, and anybody who is vulnerable … A lot of ppl think they can’t catch Covid, or pass it on, if they have had the jab. So when they get mild symptoms they don’t change their behaviour. It seems to me the vaccinated are now more ‘dangerous’ than the unvaccinated.
56
We have treatments … but they are very cheap so they have been banned, even made illegal in some countries.
54
People who caught SARS-CoV-1 are still immune to that 15 years later.
5
They’ll keep jabbing you until they find the lethal dose … 😬
4
It seems to me vaccinated ppl are more ‘dangerous’ than unvaccinated … most of them seem to think they can’t catch Covid, nor pass it on after the double jab … so when they get ill they ignore it and assume it’s just a cold. You can’t blame them really … after all, what was the point getting jabbed ???
3
Your gold standard immune system won’t stop you catching it … But you will deal with it much better when you do.
3
tbf he included Israel … The first county to jab kids and the first to mandate vax certificates for practically everything … That’s proving a great success … 😬
3
The continuous repetition of scary numbers and charts have deceived ppl into thinking the jab will ‘slow transmission’. But you won’t hear anybody leading this deception actually state that … because … It doesn’t slow transmission … It can’t slow transmission … because the jab is not sterilising and the disease is endemic … it’s everywhere.
2
The public health professionals get paid whatever.
2
Some say the source of infection is the jab itself … And some say this is just the start of what the jabbed can expect … next winter will tell …
2
You don’t have to be jabbed to report your status on the Zoe app. I do. The problem is there are so few of us unjabbed they are not getting enough data. Some say the reason for government monomaniacal, fanatical obsession with jabbing everybody is because they don’t want an unvaccinated control group 😬
2
In May Covid was number 24 in the list of killer illnesses in the UK.
2
62% is most of the population. Duh.
2
We know ppl who caught SARS-CoV-1 are still immune to that virus 15 years later.
2
The number of cases matters because it provides the media with scaremongering ammunition … As Clive Myrie put it on the BBC 10pm news … “Death is knocking at your door”.
2
You don’t need a Ph.D in virology to know that jabbing millions of healthy ppl with a vax they don’t need will create selection pressure on the virus to mutate into who-know-what … It’s an insane, unnecessary risk to take … but it makes pharma a lot of dosh.
2
It’s insane … And it could also be used as a prophylactic for ppl who don’t want, or can’t get the jab. Maybe it works or maybe not. But it’s certainly safe and we should be using every tool in the box to eliminate this virus while we can (if it’s not already too late). Our descendants will be cursing us for generations to come.
2
That was before we started interfering with our own immune systems … because we can do better than a billion years of evolution.
2
We’ve certainly reached a stage where the vaccinated, thinking they are safe, are more likely to go out when infected, feeling a bit a bit poorly, especially when they’ve got a Vax Certificate. Then they can do anything they like. Meanwhile the unjabbed will stay at home if they feel ill.
2
Correct … And there won’t be a ‘stronger’ vaccine so we either get over it and go back to normal or we lock down forever. Bearing in mind the average age of death with Covid is higher than life expectancy.
2
You might expect a ‘successful’ respiratory virus to become less severe … It won’t spread so well if it’s hosts stop breathing. On the other hand, jabbing millions of healthy ppl with a vax they don’t need will create selection pressure on the virus to mutate into who-knows-what??? Potentially, utterly catastrophic. An insane risk to take … But, hey-ho, we’ll do it anyway.
2
People who caught SARS-CoV-1 are still immune to that 15 years later.
2
They’ll call ADE deaths covid.
2
@hurmur9528 ; You can’t get a vax resistant variant from an unvaccinated person. Jabbing millions of healthy ppl with a vax they don’t need WILL create selection pressure on the virus to mutate into a vax resistant strain … basic evolution. Nobody knows how virulent and deadly that strain will be … An insane, unnecessary risk. Exactly like the over prescribing of antibiotics.
2
@stephenbetley9596 ; A vax resistant variant evolving from unvaxed ppl would be like a giraffe evolving in a land with no trees.
2
Using Jews for an experimental medical procedure … I am sure I’ve heard of that being done before.
1
An unvaccinated person can’t generate a vax resistant variant … that would be like a giraffe evolving in a land without trees.
1
At the start of this thing it was widely predicted that the virus would become more infectious but less dangerous. On the grounds that a respiratory virus is not ‘successful’ if it stops it’s host from breathing!
1
@skarathanos ; It goes in waves Sylvia. UK has had its third wave, now deaths are low … Over time more ppl will become vulnerable … then they all catch it - wave goes up … then there’s no more susceptible and wave goes down … and so on. The countries you speak of are heading for the peak of their next wave. Then their cases will go down again. Variants, scariants and vaccines have nothing to do with it.
1
You are assuming there will be effective booster jabs … which is by no means certain. If the efficacy of your previous jabs has waned then having another jab of the same thing might not do much.
1
The Covid pass just encourages ppl to think they are immune and can’t pass it on … ooops.
1
If you are infected and breathing out billions of virus, where do you think they all go when you wear a mask? Wearing of masks just encourages ppl who are sick to go out - when they should be staying at home.
1
@maureenjackson7654 ; There is zero real-world evidence that masks do anything worthwhile. Look at Japan right now, where masks are ubiquitous and have been for years … 80,000 in hospital … People dying alone at home because they can’t get into hospital. By all means wear one yourself, but please don’t dump your irrational fears and anxieties on our kids.
1
@maureenjackson7654 ; Historically, masks were worn in theatre and dentists because their instruments are sterilised - nothing to do with viruses - there’s no point sterilising the instruments if you are going to spit all over them!
1
It’s hard to know why governments are so fanatical about getting EVERYBODY jabbed. We can’t slow down transmission because it’s endemic. We can’t eliminate it because the jab is not a sterilising vax. So there’s no justification for jabbing millions of young, healthy ppl with a ‘vax’ they don’t need. They never actually explain ‘Why’ they want everybody jabbed. Just a load of platitudes like ‘together we can beat this thing’. No wonder there’s so many ‘theories’ out there … like ‘isn’t it strange that the number of young ppl hospitalised with Covid has recently gone up since we started jabbing the under 30s?’
1
It didn’t need to be … Ivermectin was available for use as a prophylactic from the start - but they banned it in order to make $Squilions for big pharma. Our descendants will be cursing us for generations to come.
1
It does if you want as many ppl to catch it as possible in the summer to reduce nhs load next winter.
1
@andybliss5965 ; In Japan wearing a mask in public is ubiquitous … that’s working well 😬
1
What did you expect? The Spanish Inquisition?
1
Sad but true.
1
That won’t tell you anything … The double jab doesn’t make you immortal … The very oldest were jabbed first and they will all end up in hospital eventually. And there is a good chance they will catch Covid while they are there.
1
@whiteeaglewarrior ; A gold standard immune system won’t stop you catching it … But will enable you to deal with it when you do.
1
Ever heard of Ivermectin … widely distributed in many provinces in India. Not to mention innate immunity which was completely ignored by the Imperial College models.
1
What !!! The jab doesn’t stop you catching it or spreading it … That’s completely the wrong narrative. I’m surprised the silicon geeks haven’t taken this video down. You’ll have back-track on that professor Zoe or you’ll never get any funding for next year.
1
I am not sure that another jab of the same mix will do anything anyway.
1
Definitely get the jab if you are vulnerable … The problem is jabbing millions of healthy ppl with a vax they don’t need. This multiplies the probability of creating a vax-resistant-variant by the number of ppl you pointlessly vaccinate. If I was vulnerable I would be livid they are jabbing ppl who don’t need it. Just when the vulnerable need protection next winter a vax resistant strain will come along and kill millions.
1
… And what a strange coincidence that many more young ppl are in hospital with Covid now … Right after they started jabbing them with a vax they don’t need.
1
@mail4lana ; Well I hope your right. But tbf nobody who has had the jab has survived a winter season yet.
1
Now you are beginning get some real-world perspective on this thing. Just because the BBC told you “death is knocking on your door”, doesn’t mean it’s true.
1
In round numbers, he’s expecting one or two young, healthy people to die per million jabbed so that for each vax death 1,000 very old, frail people can can live a bit longer until they die of something else, not Covid. Apparently that’s ok.
1
The vaccinated ppl I know think they can’t catch Covid because they’ve had the jab … If they get ill they will think it’s just a cold and not change their behaviour. The unvaccinated however, will be much more careful. Which makes vaccinated ppl more ‘dangerous’ than unvaccinated. So what the hell is the point of vax certificates which will encourage jabbed ppl even more to think they are safe. Which, maybe explains the high rates in Israel, who were the first to introduce vax certificates for almost everything.
1
The vaccines are working … That’s the right answer … Tick the box … Get funded next year.
1
@charlesdebueger9212 ; Sorry, it’s not like annual flu jabs. You need a new flu jab every year because the flu bug keeps changing. In this case the jab itself is ‘wearing off’ and there’s no reason to think another dose of the same jab will actually do anything.
1
The hope is that, in a well vaccinated future, the disease will be much less severe for all who catch it … It will be more like catching a cold that is a nuisance, but that’s all. Over dramatisation by the media is all that is preventing this happening. In May, for example, Covid was number 24 in the list of killer illnesses in the UK.
1
There was a time when terrifying an entire nation was called terrorism.
1
If I was old, frail or vulnerable I would be absolutely livid that we are ‘wasting’ the mRNA vaccines on millions of healthy ppl who don’t need it … deliberately creating selection pressure on the virus to evolve into who-knows-what.
1
@mail4lana ; Selection pressure is not a ‘theory’ (actually you mean hypothesis - and it’s not that either) it’s a well established fundamental tenet of evolution. Jabbing millions of healthy ppl with a non-sterilising vax they don’t need multiplies the probability of a resistance-bypassing-variant by the number of ppl you pointlessly vaccinate. It is staggering to think we have not this learned already from overprescribing antibiotics …
1
@mail4lana ; Correct. Natural immunity and acquired immunity does create selection pressure but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to pointlessly make it many times worse. Vaccines, in this case, cannot reduce the amount of virus circulating because it’s endemic - its everywhere. You know the reason this is being done is $$$$$.
