That is converted to DC (cuz the AC is the wrong frequency for transmission) plus heat. That DC is converted back to AC plus heat. That is transformed to 60,000 volts for power lines + heat. Electricity transmitted hundreds of miles to sub station + heat. Substation transforms it to 240 volts + heat. Car transforms it to 48 volts dc + heat. 48 volts charges battery + heat. Battery discharges into car motor + heat. Motor turns electricity into kinetic energy + heat. Which is nothing compared to the heat wasted and required to construct the turbine itself and the associated tons of concrete in the first place.

That AC - Ultra high voltage AC for transmission plus losses. That AC is transmitted hundreds of miles plus losses. Then is converted to domestic voltage AC plus losses. Domestic AC is transmitted to homes plus losses … where finally it heats up your induction hob. If you want to power a car with it then … Convert the AC to DC to charge a battery plus losses. Convert the DC into chemical energy in a battery plus losses. Convert the chemical energy in the battery back to DC plus losses Convert the DC into circular motion plus losses. And btw … All those loses are heat that contributes to global boiling.
