And the five year average to the same date = 164,196 So it looks like Coronavirus has caused about 2,200 extra deaths. Nothing like the 16,000 reported. Lockdown only works if it is absolute and government originally thought people would not follow the rules. So they massively overstated the danger to terrify everybody into staying home by counting everybody who dies With it as if they died From it.

Nobody is looking at the other side of the coin:- in the UK about 50,000,000 active people are loosing say, 20% of their quality of life. Lockdown takes away a part of everybody's life that they can never have get back. 20% of 50,000,000 = 1,000,000 days wasted per day of lockdown.
