  3. Enough! This is just scaretalk. Someone is obviously going to release a book or something and is trying to feud the audience into a panic. If there something history has tells us we are ALWAYS better than we were (unless of course someone wants to go back to the ages without wi-fi, internet, electricity, toilets, etc). Machines will get better and be better than us because: 1) that is what WE want. 2) they ALREADY are (unless you wanna do complex mathmatics in a choalckboard). Machines will only harm us if WE tell them to do so. End of story.

  12. I think he forgot to mention the lack of a magnetic field... I say we divert a ice meteor into it, at an angle (so it jumpstarts the inner core spin), blast the surface with seeds and watch it unfold. Altough, I believe the politics involve in regulating resources and land will most certainlly lead to conflic before this presented utopia actually happens.

  39. I actually thing women very are casual about it (in my country at least). My friend-girls take the pill in from of male friends (like me) and they even excuse themselves to go to the bathroom, or when in pain, using slang for "period" (e.g. "Visit from the Red Queen").

  44. It cannot be the ringing of 'gravitational' waves. Gravity (along with the other fundamental forces) were only created in the big bang. I believe it has to be related more to the dark matter or to the dark energy that, until now, we are not sure when or where they were created.
