  1. James Baker, Secretary of State under Reagan, made a suggestion that to liberate East Germany from the USSR, NATO might promise to not expand east. He lacked authority to make such a guarantee on behalf of NATO. Oh, I see this is discussed in the video. Never mind.😌

  3. If Europe were puppets of America, Trump could have insisted that they meet the suggested arms investments for NATO members. They didn't. Now many do.
