  1. The UN needs to send peacekeepers to the Dnieper Dam and the Zap power plant. Grain deals and prisoner exchanges are fine and they benefit Putin both and Ukraine. Now for some action that the naked aggressors may not like so much. Or the UN can go forward with the stain of incompetence on its charter for the remainder of history. Or perhaps the UN has moved on from its charter and wants to be a debate society and coffee klatch on the bank of the East River? Not sure why anyone would want to pay for that.

  2. The Putinist Regime has squandered any good will the world might have borne for Russia. Any state or company that trades with them becomes a leper, too. The prideful Russians are learning exactly how self-sufficient they are in isolation. Can they make oil and gas into consumer goods? Can they eat oil and gas? Can they restore trust and friendship with oil and gas? No, it's tainted with blood. How dare the Russians even attempt to hold their heads high? Their moral inferiority has been showcased for all the world to see.
