  1. I heard on my American TV some referencing the "billions for Ukraine" and I don't like it. We taxpayers already pay $700 billion every year for "defense." If Ukraine is not where that money already spent should go, I ask, "What is the point? What are we defending against? An invasion from Canada?" My country has spent trillions countering the threat from the communist Soviet Union and now from nuclear-armed Russia. Counting pennies? Really? As though Americans feel the pain of any sacrifice for Ukraine. Send the weapons to de-occupy quickly and as humanely as possible. Cut out the cancer.
