  3. Ironically, the democrats stubborn insistence on a 100% vote for Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, during multiple votes, led to the republican revenge vote for Johnson as Speaker. They could have been strategic and negotiated for a moderate republican. The democrats now take childish delight in throwing a monkey wrench into basic legislature and empowering 13 republicans.
