@mitanni0 Mark Twain was one of the first stand-up comics. Many of his quotes come from his humorous lectures. He was in deep debt due to a bad investment in an early typewriter and toured the world. He helped Ulysses S. Grant publish his memoirs and get out of debt. His greatest achievement? He invented Huckleberry Finn.

Thanks for your astute comment. NATO grew out of a defensive pact between Britain and France. "The Treaty of Dunkirk was signed by France and the United Kingdom on 4 March 1947, during the aftermath of World War II and the start of the Cold War, as a Treaty of Alliance and Mutual Assistance in the event of possible attacks by Germany or the Soviet Union." - Wikipedia. NATO grew out of TAMA.

Trump is a landlord and gave NATO countries a wake-up call if they were counting on the U.S. to pay most of the rent for all the roomies. I'm convinced he will not let American corporations miss out on the Ukraine war. It's true, he is no Dick Cheney when it comes to starting wars.

@stacey37m Trump has a reputation for not paying contractors. Of course, building buildings in New York he is experienced with unions and mobsters, sometimes indistinguishable in their methods. He's not a nice person. But he gets things done.

And any smart American President would like NATO countries to buy American.

No, I think Trump wants NATO to spend more and buy American. And also not "go light" on the bill to keep our military industrial complex humming, for which America borrows heavily.

KH is for Kid Horror. That missile has galvanized international disgust and wakened the sleeping pygmies. We are small but, like raindrops, we make floods. The social media giants are run by algorithms, flawed algorithms, sometimes "alerted" by bad actors. Each of us has a responsibility to call BS.
