Is Ukraine not a populist issue? And when did populist become a dirty word? In any case, I want to hear some concrete assurances from Harris better than she "will stand with NATO and Ukraine." Does that mean sufficient arms to make the Russians live within their borders? What does it mean?

@proudtitanicdenier4300 I'm with you there. Trump looks like he wants throw the hot potato to Europe because it wouldn't have happened on his watch.

Walz has a pro-Ukraine record but can he or will he make policy for Harris? He seems to lack the charismatic quality of taking charge.

Trump's attitude on Ukraine is unacceptable to me. Biden has kind of stemmed the flow of immigrants by using powers he had all along. Will Harris stick with that?

Russian propaganda got both Trump and Biden elected, proving they're unreliable.

Let's assume that the economy is booming and the White House can take credit for the post-COVID jobs rebound. Voters are paying 20% more for everything and their savings have 20% less buying power even with good stock market returns. It doesn't feel like a good economy. And, you're right, letting Ukraine twist in the wind when we spend $800 billion a year on defense has no bearing on our economy but it does affect trust.

According to polls, Hillary Clinton should have won. People self-select to take polls and sometimes say what sounds good. Not scientific but a staple of the news and good money for the pollsters.

They did. Gore lost. But he's saving the planet by jetting around and speaking.

Oh, dear. Truthfulness? So many politicians are void of the human virtues.

So PROFESSIONALS are doing all the voting?

There's still time to tell voters their feelings about the economy are all wrong.
