  2.  @TheCrackupboom  The U.S. was busy in '68 protecting democracy from communism in South Vietnam. Except LBJ was just as scared of offending the Soviets and didn't take Hanoi. Truman didn't take North Korea. And Biden didn't take Crimea. Democracy is mostly an exciting word for politicians to use.
