  3. Only 20% of Neanderthal genome still survives. They were different enough from modern humans to say that they are a subspecies and therefore they are an extinct species imo

  5. The idea that their brains had better visual processing is really cool. Maybe they were much better hunters/warriors with basic spears. Their skin and hair pigment were probably passed down to modern Europeans, that is why you don't see white people in northern Asia for example.
