  3.  @fauxque5057  For them it was snow, believe me. When I was down there in college and it rained, everyone would enjoy all the 'green' on the hills, which to me was almost nothing.

  8.  @Cwgrlup  I know, and it's only going to get worse, so plan for it now. Most of the homes up here have washers and dryers in their uninsulated garages, so we can't use them during parts of winter or the extreme heat anymore. Last year, THREE DAYS IN A ROW of 115+ degree heat! CRAZY!
