  1. His performance is pretty bad, his nonverbals aren't in sync, and his verbals aren't either; both indicative of a plan that's being poorly carried out by someone with ulterior motives. He "knows" it was the neighbor, they'd had recent violent problems...a quick leap from where he started at; and he looks far more anxious than sad or grieving, and his shirt is glowingly-white in the flashlights.
