When a "fallen" man, or son, in the universe wants to reach the Father (God) He must crucify ego or the base tendencies of the lower world (chakras.) He must CROSS the heart on his ascension to "Heaven"/head/mind. If this is achieved that man establishes Heaven on Earth (just like Jesus and Buddha before him did.) EVERY man does this for himself. No man opts out of the Law and let's another fulfill it in his place. You (and many) were taught the symbols but not their true meaning. You were taught to make one of the symbols a deity (your "God".) By law this puts you in idolatry. The ego doesn't mind that because it excuses that man and has him believe that someone else will (or has done the work for him.) The good news is there is no hell or damnation except that which a man co creates through ignorance. Every man's soul reincarnates in the lower world until he finally takes the "stairway to heaven" and returns to his rightful place.
