If you just think about it logically, private insurance companies are an unnecessary, extremely expensive middle man between patients and doctors. Administrative costs are insanely high. Every program or policy Bernie's proposed has explained how it's paid for..

  22.  @t2k777  that is not true. Bernie has the nickname Amendment King for his ability to work with people who have different ideas. A simple Google search will show what he's accomplished, and there are plenty of videos where he's out in the heat and cold with striking workers like Teamsters.

  33.  @Nan-59  such a tragedy, people are being driven away from teaching because of gun violence. And all the children learning "active shooter drills" is just heartbreaking. It doesn't have to be this way. From 1994-2004 there was a decade of significantly reduced gun fatalities due to semiautomatic weapons being illegal. That legislation needs to be passed again.
