I volunteered for Bernie in 2020. Do you know that some people, when the d n c chose Biden as their candidate (which they unfortunately have the legal right to do), some who donated to Bernie's campaign asked for and received refunds?? Name another candidate who would do that....you can't.

It may seem futile, but more people who share his beliefs and policies need to run for Congress...people who can't be bought and controlled by billionaires.

He's trying but he's only one person. That's why his 2020 slogan was #NotMeUs. We need more people to run for Congress who share the same beliefs.

@Semper_Iratus I didn't deflect. the topic you brought up is campaign contributions. List your source for your numbers.

@rack9458 most wealth is inherited.

Education is lacking in some parts of the country, and people don't even know the meaning of the insults they repeat.

@lifeisagift.cherisheverymoment this shouldn't be true in the US in 2024, but there are many places without internet access. There are places where critical thinking isn't being taught, and people aren't even taught how our government is structured. When funding for education is cut, that's the result.

Don't get discouraged. More and more people are opening their minds to ideas like universal healthcare, pre-k programs and affordable daycare, 32-hr work weeks...millions of first time voters will hit the polls this November, and they want unions and living wages, they want to make their own healthcare decisions, they want increased Social Security. #Solidarity #NotMeUs

Voting for people who agree with what Bernie is saying, who won't be bought by billionaires, will help. More and more Gen Z are starting to run for office, and their policies align closely with Bernie's.

@rack9458 I can't fix the world. My hands are full trying to fix the US 😂

@kristihex8961 if you are determined to be nihilistic then nothing fixes anything. I prefer to take whatever small action I can (phone banking, for example)

Eisenhower was the last of the GOP who had some decent policies. Then Reagan started the trickle-down bs, which never worked, and I can't believe some people still think it might work.

Bernie ran as a Dem in 2020. I volunteered for him. Unfortunately the d n c has legal right to determine the primary candidate. Biden was chosen. I don't agree with many of Biden's policies, but in Nov the choice will be either Biden, or Donald, who has publicly stated he wants to do away with the US Constitution. He's responsible for 140 police getting injured and some dying, because of Don's inaction, as the Calitol was being stormed on Jan 6, 2021. He says he'll pardon those who hurt and killed police officers and others on Jan. 6th He also takes credit for Roe v Wade being overturned, because he packed the Supreme Court with people who have lied under oath. Donald has been found civilly liable for sexual assault. I'm not a Democrat, but the choice between those two is easy: Biden.

Bernie did run in 2020. I volunteered for him. The d n c made sure Joe was the candidate. But Bernie has been helpful with supporting unions all over the US. Workers are seeing they deserve to have union representation. Bernie was influential in the student loan debt forgiveness which Biden passed. And Bernie has always been active in decreasing the cost of life-saving medications, too.
