  9. ​ @johnroberts3824  guess what? Disabled people exist. So do elderly who can't afford to live on the ridiculously low SS they receive.. I know it's hard to fathom, but other people exist who have different circumstances than you...and still need affordable housing and a living wage.

They lump them together when they are not the same. Not even close. Yes, Bernie's said many times he pays taxes and he's fine with it. He's fine with spending more. He wrote 2 best-selling books and he's writing a 3rd. He's got no problem with capitalism, obviously. Billionaires don't pay anywhere near proportional taxes.

Also we have freedom of religion in the US. Not everyone believes your religion. Some aren't religious at all. They are free to be atheist.
