His book isn't canceled, it's just being released in the fall. They didn't have the vaccine, but they've been working for a decade on studying that particular type of virus.. So coming up with the vaccine happens faster when there's been many scientists worldwide studying certain types of viruses... Fauci is a giant in the scientific community. He's been a world-renowned epidemiologist since the 1980s. His h index is 221. Google what that means.

@vinny1995 as I stated, he's a world-renowned epidemiologist and has been since the 1980s. Google h index. The man is one of the most cited scientists in the world. Being ready for an inevitable pandemic is not the same as causing one. Hint: viruses are always going to be around. Prediction: there will be another pandemic in the future. Dr. Fauci's work has helped save millions of lives over the decades.

@vinny1995 I actually have a friend who knew Dr. Fauci in the 80s, and this person is one of millions alive due to Dr. Fauci's work. I'm well aware of the evolution of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and what went on at that time. Each virus has variants, so just because they're working on one for decades, doesn't mean a new one won't come along. It will come along. And then scientists learn more, and data changes.. How can you not know this? It's high school level stuff.
