  1. There are many complications which occur 3-4 months into pregnancy, sadly. For example finding out through ultrasound that the fetus is missing vital organs. Also there are many pregnancies where women become severely ill a few months into the pregnancy. Don't judge what you don't know. And sometimes a woman doesn't know she's pregnant til 6 weeks or later, because she may have irregular periods.
