  5. Both issues are important. They both involve healthcare and conservative beliefs that it's not a right. What's happening in these anti-choice states is terrible. Unacceptable.

  6.  @ferox965  either or both..but definitely not pro-life, that's for sure. There was a huge march on Washington, DC in April 1989, in support of women's health and reproductive rights. Might be time for another one.

  10. I had no insurance in my early 20s. But all you need is one major surgery and hospital stay to wind up being ten thousand or more in debt.

  14. David, it was good that you had it checked out. Better safe than sorry. However, the for-profit healthcare system is absolutely vile. We as progressives must keep pushing for a single payer healthcare system..either #MedicareForAll or whatever it may be called, it must be single payer, universal healthcare. Free at the point of service. Dental, eyecare, and hearing aids included. Keep electing progressives at the local and state level. As Bernie often reminds us, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon.
