Perfect.

Thank you for recognizing the difference between spoken words and a physical attack. Some sanity in here!

@dreamshakejunya I agree 100%. Comedians always make fun of the audience at these awards shows, it's been part of the shows for decades. Chris's jokes were pretty mild compared to some other comedians. And the actors know it's all to lighten the mood. And for those who don't know, G.I. Jane was a movie starring Demi Moore, where she portrayed an extremely strong, determined, beautiful woman.

@lauraprosser5084 like I used to teach my 4-year-olds in preschool: "Use your words, not your hands." Pretty simple.

@lauraprosser5084 Chris is a comedian telling jokes. His entire purpose is to poke fun at the guests. This is what happens at awards shows. If actors can't take jokes, they don't have to attend the ceremony. They can watch from home in PJs.

lacteur1, haha perfect!! Yeah, Chris took it easy, he could've gone way harder 😂

@jenkem4464 exactly! Will was laughing hard, then all of a sudden was "offended"...ridiculous.

@canadian97 it's all about intent. These comedians are literally there to poke fun at celebs. If Chris Rock wanted to truly insult her, he could've done way more than compare her to Demi Moore 's beautiful character.

Very real. LAPD contacted.

@larryscarr3897 🤣😂

Andrea, Yes! Especially on the left..

@JustForFun-mt9og incurable? What are you talking about? This particular type of hair loss isn't always permanent and there are varying forms. I know people who have it. Will's wife made a video of how beautiful she feels, and Chris Rock compared her to Demi Moore's character, who was strong and beautiful.

@Sauvenil agree 100%

@DuckShovel how many awards shows hosted by comedians have you attended? Context is everything. Celebs get roasted. Some jokes land, some don't. Also, G.I.Jane was strong and gorgeous. Where's the insult?
1
@DuckShovel Chris may not have been aware of her condition, and if he was, he may have seen her ticktock video saying how proud she was of how she looked. GI Jane was a gorgeous, strong woman played by Demi Moore. Where's the insult?
1
@DuckShovel still don't understand the insult. He was basically saying her decision to shave her head made her look strong and beautiful (like Demi Moore)
1
@DuckShovel I'll repeat it again: he may not have known about her condition (which many people have, and it's not always permanent), and if he knew, the comparison was to a strong, gorgeous female. Where is the insult?
1
@DuckShovel you're wrong. G. I. Jane was popular not because of her lack of hair, but because of the story (which you clearly don't know). Comedians are hired to mock the crowd, not with malice, but in fun. Ever been to a comedy club? They joke about people in their audience. Hurt feelings is not an excuse for physical violence, ever.
