  1. First, this couple who rescued him and gave him the best life possible were angels for this bird. Second, whoever did the horrendous thing of putting this large bird in a tiny cage should be prosecuted for cruelty to animals and should spend time in a very small jail ceil that they couldn't move around in. You can see this precious birds wings were damaged by these incredibly cruel previous owners.

  3. You should not give your pigeon; or, any pet receipts to play with or money, for that matter. Receipts are thermal paper for heat printing; receipts can contain BPA that is 250 to 1,000 times greater than the amount in a can of food. And, money is filthy, has some of the highest bacteria and virus rates of almost anything we handle. We really need to think about the things we give our pets to play with.

  5. It is incredible what this man is doing for animals. One thing that is not good, thought, is that he is trying to 'humanizing' animals too much. This can lead to serious behavioral problems in animals. There is a caveat with this obsessions to rescue animals, also. People who have this overwhelming urge to care for unwanted animals can go out of control in a very unhealthy way. When people learn that their is a person available to take their unwanted animals; animal dumping on this person can go out of control. If the person does not know when to say, "No, I can't take anymore animals." The situation can turn from a wonderful situation; to a situation of animal hoarding and horror for the animals taken in by that person. I hope this kind hearted and caring gentlemen knows when it is time to say, "No, I can't take anymore animals."
