  1. What David French is stating is unequivocally 'hitting the nail on the head' about the radical religious right. I was raised in a radical right wing religion. My father and the congregation at his church were radical right wing. Religion was forced down my throat, I was forced to attend church three times a week ('revival meetings' in the summer were held seven days a week). Fortunately, as a teenager I felt something was really wrong with my Dad's religion and I made up my mind to get out as soon as I could. I left home soon after graduating high school. As soon as I could vote, I registered as a Democrat.
