The ignorant, uneducated, misinformed, anti-science people in our country are what is killing us. This pandemic has become a pandemic caused by the unvaccinated. The irony is now the mistruth about the virus and the vaccines the Republicans and Antivaxer's have promoted is coming back to bite them. Their lies, exaggerations and conspiracy theories are killing their own. Their voters are ones who are dying in hospitals all over this country. Ignorance is not bliss and Karma is taking them out.

@BoulderPM The neat thing about science is of the possibilities to learn, to move ahead, to discover, to invent, to create. Science neither proves nor disproves. It accepts or rejects ideas based on supporting and refuting evidence, but may revise those conclusions if warranted by new evidence or perspectives. Science a religion - No. Bad self esteem - No. Science has nothing to do with either.

@BoulderPM Here is information from the National Institutes of Health: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/experimental-coronavirus-vaccine-safe-produces-immune-response Phase 3 trial has actually just launched. Thirty thousand people from the south (because that is where this virus is most prevalent) have been selected; 15,000 get the vaccine, 15,000 get the placebo. I actually signed up for the trial; I live in Florida, the epicenter of the pandemic right now. I did not get selected. I suspect because I am self-isolating; I am retired so I can do that. @BoulderPM You certainly have no solution that could have saved 160K+ people who have died and the many more that will die from this horrible virus. My 'science' is a hell of lot better than what you are offering as solution. Which is nothing! By the way, there are studies backing up what the researchers have done so far. To get clearance for a Phase Three trial, they had to present a lot of data to get that clearance. If anything had occurred in the previous trials it would have been stopped. The data is not available to the general public because it is a drug companies proprietary property that they will eventually sell.
