  1. American was sold out by Wall St. starting 30-40 years ago. All Wall St. cares about is the bottom line and a company making a significant profit at any cost. The cost was good paying American jobs being sold out to overseas companies. It was the beginning of the end for good paying American manufacturing jobs. What did he say? He said services before the pandemic were the leading job driver in the US. Many of those jobs were low paying jobs with no way to advance into a living wage job. The sellout of American manufacturing jobs has destroyed our citizens chances to earn a decent living in a good job that pays well and has good benefits.

We need encouragement and a voice of reason in these very trying times; thank you for being one of the voices doing that and supporting Dr. Fauci publicly. The current Administration is beyond reproachable for what has occurred to discredit Dr. Fauci. You certainly have given a glimmer of hope; even if we must wait 'til spring when a vaccine will be available to everyone. I am thinking about signing up for this early trial of a vaccine. I live in Florida; it is beyond scary here and I would be honored to be part of the solution to this incredible threat.

He told me a gut wrenching story of how he and his family escaped Vietnam at the withdrawal of American troops. I told him he should write a book of the experience he and his family endured. It was just as chaotic in Vietnam at end of the war and the withdrawal of US troops.

  20. When education goes south in a society, as it has in the US, this is what you get. What is apparent here is the negative side of extreme religion. I grew up in an extreme right, radical religious mindset; thanks to my father. I haven't forgiven him to this day for the damage it did to our family and to me personally. I understand how you get these extreme radical, ignorant beliefs when you are brainwashed. I was lucky enough to have the sense and confidence to educate myself and not follow my Dad into this dark, unhealthy, and dangerous side of religion.
