How about this? You have to check the size of your carryon in a unit to see if it fits. So, if a person is morbidly obese, there should be a test seat for them to fit in before they board. They should be denied boarding on the plane because they didn't buy two seats to accommodate their size. The airlines to did this would have to clearly state the width of their seats when tickets are purchased and told at that time if you do not fit in one seat at boarding; you would be denied boarding of the airplane if you didn't buy two seats.
