  2. @Chris-q9m Yup, because most of these programs require them to deal with their alcohol/drug issues of which many are not willing to do that. This is the thing many seem to get wrong with the homeless - most don't become addicts because they're homeless, they're homeless because they became addicts. Grown adults who made their choice in life - they choose addiction and the ruined life that comes with it.

  5.  @gallardoo9  Yup, it's the logical conclusion to unabated addiction. I'm so glad I got off drugs before I got anywhere near this far but it did take a failed suicide attempt. The reality is, only the addict can break the cycle.
