  1. ​ @haitolawrence5986 The things the nuclear industry hadn't anticipated regarding Fukushima are slightly different to what most people realise. A total plant black-out is planned for, i.e total failure of back up generators ect and countries with Nuclear power have emergency centres in strategic points around the country with mobile emergency pumps that can be brought in within a matter of hours to start cooling the reactors. What the Nuclear industry hadn't considered was a natural disaster so monumental that the infrastructure for hundreds of miles was totally destroyed making it impossible to get that emergency equipment to plant in a total black out. Fukushima was such small part of what went on that day in 2011 yet it receives all the focus. The earthquake/tsunami killed 20,000 people and wiped out entire towns/communities in minutes. Fukushima killed one person.
