  1. Also, sometimes tempered glass isn't the best thing to use. Although strong, if it's subject to a sharp shock from a pointed object like the edge of a big hail or a small stone it just explodes into cubes and your windows gone. Regular glass may crack/shatter but more likely for actual window to hold together
