NATO would never allow Russia to join, NATO needs a boogeyman to justify its existence - Russia has always been that boogeyman.

@christianalmli9085 The West once again created Hitler with the Treaty of Versailles. Two decades of enforced poverty of Germany led to the rise of Hitler and the German publics overwhelming support. So yes, it is UNDERSTANDABLE. But understanding isn't necessarily approval. How can you prevent the same thing happening if you don't understand people's motives.

@TravistheGREAT03 You need to ask yourself WHY he wants to create the old Russia. The reason is because NATO has been slowly creeping towards the east the last 30 years, that threatens Russia. And don't try to pretend the West isn't aggressive. We've stomped into many countries we had no business in. The West has no moral high ground here.

@lasrrr2675 I agree, most people don't seem to realise that it pays to listen to people you disagree with, pretend to agree, that way you'll get what they really think about the issue. People seem to think the way you dicuss is to virulently attack your opponent - it achieves nothing.
