@bluestreak2701 In my experience that's not the case - especially with older generations who still have the most influence. Some know what's going on and approve of it - the bootlicking, brainwashed types. The majority are just asleep or just deliberately don't want to believe what's happening. Both have different motivations, but both equally complicit to this madness

@paulineprice9534 Basically. The government would never outright ban cars - there'd be riots. What they're doing is making the prospect of owning a car so completely unappealing we just don't bother. Look at what's going on with the cattle feed debacle - the government wants to abolish livestock/traditional farming but they'll never actually do it for the same reasons so instead they mandate some awful practices that make us go "I'm eating this Frankenstein shit" and bingo, government got what it wanted and we think it was our decision.
