  2. ​ @gerryspang5917 Well, Scania and Volvo are used in and off road for logging in Scandinavia all the time 🤷‍♂️. And currently they are allowed to legally run at 64 tonnes (140K pounds) on the road. Sweden in particular had the highest permitted gtw limits in Europe, it's what kicked off the horsepower race in the 1960's/70's. The Scandinavians needed the horse power.

  4. ​ @AlexKall 6x2 probably the most common set up in the UK 🇬🇧 just because that extra lift axle allows you to run at 44 instead of 40 tonnes.

  5. Plenty of twin drive bogies available in Europe, used on rigid tippers, and tractors units in heavy haul or waste/recycling work.

  6. Wouldn't be so out of place either. Here in the UK a lot of Scania's are 6x2. Either have a single tyre lift axle infeont of the drive or a dual tyre lift behind the drive.
