And the best parts is the mechanics are the ones who often get the bad rap for these constant failures - it's not, our hands are tied behind our back by corporate bullshit. In my industry (forklifts) I've seen countless times where a manufactuer will just keep parts swapping with little to no diagnosis with same problem to keep returning. Eventually (usually after the warranty runs out) someone like me comes along, spends a couple of days actually diagnosing the fault and getting to the root cause of the problem which is usually a different component. It's a terrible practice - the mechanic gets a bad rep, my employer (the dealer) gets a bad rep, the customers got no faith in the brand and the one that annoys me the most? The machine gets a bad rep it truly doesn't deserve! I'll stick to my spanners, the corporate mindset completely baffles me!
