  1. Grew up there in the 60’s and 70’s, you have absolutely no idea how amazing it was then when it was predominantly Polish/Ukranian, some German. No idea, old polish women used to wash their porches with mops wearing babushka’s, we could ride our bikes and play everywhere, downtown was a mix of awesome 5 and dime and dozens and dozens of mom and pop shops. Almost like a Norman Rockwell painting. Today? A total shit sandwich, it started going downhill like everything else mind you - in the mid 80’s. The Serbs and Yugoslavians invaded followed by the Bangladeshi and other Muslims not long after. Guh - Muslim or Alphabets. I gotta go with the lesser of two evils, Muslim.
