Back when my dad flew we put aviation fuel in his old surburban that stuff boosted engine hp burnt off all carbon to new condition. He was out flying model airplanes parked on a slight hill. Getting the engine to pick up what was left which was too low some one fueled their airplane the tanker truck had about little over thirty gallons fuel problem solved I had fifty dollars cash on me 💨 smoked I mean cooked all the carbon off a sheriff stoped us for thinking the truck was on fire. I was rolling with laughter. The suburban usually got between eight little over ten on a good day. We went over week and a half with no fuel stops. My dad had the original engine checked from 1984 one rebuild heads were spots less the mechanic wanted to know what we put in the truck av gas we said. Funky thing is it ran smoother and cooler. So if you can get hold of aviation fuel run some car truck what ever big difference.
