  2. Arum brought awareness to the art of matchmaking, and especially ethnic matchups that yield the most revenue. Oscar De La Hoya was not a great fighter, but Arum did a wonderful job marketing him to the Hispanic audience and parlaying his looks and gold medal into a fortune.

  3. @ I agree with you. Usually the fighter on his way out never gets the close decisions. Oscar also received gift decisions against Felix Sturm and Ike Quartey.

  4. @Musashi_Bankai  Oscar's best wins were over an elderly Chavez and face-first Fernando Vargas. You must have a learning disability. You can ignore facts if you want...be Oscar lost twice against Mosley, lost to Trinidad, Mayweather, B-hop, Pacquiao....average fighter at best.
