Crawford wastes more time doing interviews and attending fights than actually fighting himself. It's no wonder he's almost 38 and begging Canelo for a payday. He doesn't deserve a Canelo fight. Hasn't proven himself against anyone worth noting.

@AlmightyMauMau yeah, OK. Spence Jr. was essentially blind in one eye and was clearly on the downslide. Years of drinking and abusing his body caught up to him. Are you actually building your argument based on...Errol Spence Jr.????

@waltervaz4102 nobody, and I mean nobody, was calling for or asking for a Canelo-Crawford fight. It's a garbage fight and Canelo has nothing to gain from it. I would have more respect for Bud if he just started a GoFundme account rather than to convince people he wants a Canelo fight for any other reason besides a payday.

@ Why should anyone pay to see Bud Crawford fight? What does he bring to the table? Nothing. He's a good fighter, but Canelo should not reward his laziness by giving him a PPV shot. Pleanty of other more deserving fighters who can actually sell tickets: Bivol, Benavidez...heck, even the winner of Eubanks/Benn.

@runninreb9142 I don't know what you're talking about. All I know is that Crawford will be asking for a bunch of money to fight Canelo--much more than Amir Khan received. I just want to know what Crawford has done to deserve it. Have ANY of his fights turned a profit? What exactly does he add to the matchup? He has absolutely nothing to lose. If Canelo knocks him out, What's the first thing that will come out of Crawford's mouth? That Canelo was too big for him, and the extra weight slowed him down, etc. I hope Canelo doesn't reward Crawford with a shot. Remember, this is the same Crawford who pulled the race card on Bob Arum, and accused Canelo of avoiding black fighters. Why would anyone want to pay to see him fight?

@runninreb9142 Who has Crawford fought in the last decade that impresses you so much? His record is awfully thin for someone so highly regarded. I've never really understood why he's on everyone's P4P list. Please name me just one star in his prime Crawford defeated. Fact is, he'll be asking for a bunch of money to face Canelo, and he doesn't deserve any of it because none of his fights have generated a profit. Canelo stands to gain absolutely nothing by facing him. The first thing that will come out of Bud's mouth when he loses will be that he was too small and the weight slowed him down. I don't want to pay to see this garbage fight.
