Everyone knows the league has a poor track record of taking care of their retired players and establishing an adequate pension fund. And it almost took an act of congress to get the league to act on the CTE issue. Why would someone support a league that doesn't support their own players? Most fans will grab a beer next week and completely forget about this young man...which is exactly what the league wants you to do.
