It used to be called "The Tragedy of the Commons," which is an economic theory predicting human behavior (abuse) when supplied with a common resource. Everyone loses in the end when we pollute the air, water, and land.

When not shining their trucks or playing basketball at their fire station, firefighters tend to be arrogant and expect everyone to part the red sea whenever they honk their silly horn, often leading to fender benders. Plus they leave their trucks on idle and you could smell the diesel fumes 10 miles away. I'm sure this particular firefighter mouthed off to the CHP officer. Thus he got handcuffed.

  13. Criminal forensics has become so advanced now with DNA and matching techniques, I would think crimes like these are now solved close to 100% of the time.
