  1. The referee blew it in many ways. He gave Benn too long to get back in the ring. He allowed Benn to bend below the waist, which is not allowed. And he kept needlessly interrupting McClellan from continuing his assault. McClellan should have scored a first round stoppage.

  2.  @monkeyb1820  I think about that McClellan-Benn fight even 27 years later. Who knows how great G-Man could have been. He was ready to become a superstar. Roy Jones Jr. was his friend and became much more defensive-oriented after watching the fight. It changed many lives.

  4.  @monkeyb1820  Jackson was a monster and a KO highlight reel machine. Arguably one of the top-5 hardest hitters in boxing history. I got to meet him at a hall-of-fame boxing convention in Los Angeles several years ago. Super nice guy.
